National
CARES Act Changes to Charitable Donations
- Taxpayers who don't itemize deductions may take a charitable deduction of up to $300 for cash contributions made in 2020 to qualifying organizations
Employee Retention Credit
- Eligible employers can claim a refundable tax credit against the employer share of Social Security tax equal to 70% of the qualified wages they pay to employees after December 31, 2020, through June 30, 2021.
Families First Coronavirus Response Act (the "FFCRA")
- Provides small and midsize employers refundable tax credits that reimburse them, dollar-for-dollar, for the cost of providing paid sick and family leave wages to their employees for leave related to COVID-19
Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF)
- $28.6 Billion SBA to award funds for restaurant industry

COVID-19 Relief Statewide Small Business Assistance
- Grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 to small businesses that have been economically impacted by COVID-19
Programs Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA)
- Provides low-interest loans and lines of credit for eligible businesses that commit to creating and retaining full-time jobs and for the development of industrial parks and multi-tenant facilities
County Specific
City of Bethlehem Small Business Assistance Grant Program
- Designed for For-Profit businesses with fewer than 50 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees located in the City of Bethlehem
- $500,000 in CARES Act Funding dedicated, individual grants will be awarded in amounts up to $10,000
City of Philadelphia Support for Businesses
- Provides information and resources that offer guidance and financial assistance for businesses
