What is Zelle®?

Integrated into the Quaint Oak Bank app, Zelle® provides a fast and easy way for you to send and receive money. With Zelle®, you can send money from your bank account to a friend, family member, and many trusted businesses quickly1!

Quaint Oak Bank wants to help you get the most out of Zelle® with a few useful tips.

Send Money to People You Know

Zelle® recommends only sending money to people you know and trust through the platform.

Paying your babysitter for date night? Splitting brunch with your girlfriends? Contributing to this month’s rent? Repaying your buddy for concert tickets? Zelle® is a simple, efficient way to send and receive money.

How to Use Zelle® for Mobile

Enroll for Mobile Use

The first time you use Zelle® through the Quaint Oak Bank app you will need to enroll with either an email address or phone number.

Once enrolled with Zelle®, you can use your email address or phone number to send and receive money without the need to share sensitive information.

How to Use Zelle® on Mobile

After enrolling you can start by choosing to Send, Request, or Split payment in the Quaint Oak Bank app.

Then, select from your list of recipients or use the plus “+” button to add a new recipient. Enter in the amount you are sending or requesting.

Ensure the recipient’s information is correct before clicking “send” or requesting payment. There is a Memo field available for adding any useful notes.

For example, include what the payment or request is for, like “cutting the lawn,” “May utility bill,” and “coffee at Java Joe’s” to better keep track of payments.

Enroll for Desktop Use

Once enrolled in BillPay, select the Send Money with Zelle® tab or Send Money to Friends and Family option.

Select Get Started and choose either your email or phone number to securely send money. Then select Continue.

Select Continue again, then enter in your 6-digit verification code and select Verify.

Confirm that the account listed is correct, then select Confirm Account.

How to Use Zelle® for Desktop

Select Send Money, add a recipient by selecting Add New Contact, then fill out the Add New Contact form and select if you want the money sent via email, mobile, or account #.

Then, choose Save.

Select Next and enter in the amount of money you wish to send. Here you can select for the money to be sent on a different day or create a repeat payment by clicking Change.

Select what day you would like the payment to be sent on the calendar, and if you would like the frequency of the payment to change, click the arrow next to One Time Payment.

Choose Frequency. Here you can choose how often you would like to send a payment. Once this is determined, select Done.

Review who and where the payment is being sent to, as well as for how much. If you would like to note a reason for the payment, you can add that here. If all reads correctly, select Send.

Once the intended recipient follows the prompts sent to them, the money will be available.
