100 Years Growing with You: How Quaint Oak Bank Is Investing in Communities During Its Centennial Year

On July 2, 1926, Quaint Oak Bank opened its doors with a simple mission: build strong relationships and help communities grow.

One hundred years later, that commitment remains unchanged.

As Quaint Oak Bank celebrates its centennial anniversary, we’re reflecting not only on where we’ve been, but also on how we’re investing in the people, organizations, and neighborhoods that continue to shape our future.

Throughout 2026, our “100 Years Growing with You” campaign has focused on creating visible, lasting community impact through environmental stewardship, accessibility initiatives, educational partnerships, and local investment. These efforts are designed to honor our history while helping strengthen the communities we serve for generations to come.

Turning a Centennial Celebration into Community Action

When we began planning our 100th anniversary, we wanted the milestone to be about more than looking back.

Our centennial initiative was built around a simple question: How can we leave a lasting impact on the communities that have supported us for the last century?

The answer became a year-long commitment to community revitalization, accessibility, sustainability, and local partnership. From tree planting projects to partnerships with nonprofit organizations and public libraries, each initiative was designed to create meaningful, measurable benefits for local residents.

Growing Communities One Tree at a Time

One of the first initiatives launched as part of the centennial campaign was a commitment to plant 100 trees throughout the year. As customer participation grew, so did the program.

Today, that original commitment has expanded to 233 trees planted, creating tangible environmental benefits while symbolizing the growth of the communities we serve. What started as a centennial initiative has become a visible reminder that growth is most meaningful when it creates something lasting for future generations.

Expanding Inclusion Through Our Partnership with The Arc

In February, Quaint Oak Bank expanded its partnership with The Arc of Lehigh and Northampton Counties, reinforcing our commitment to accessibility and inclusion throughout the region.

As part of that effort, the Bank sponsored The Arc’s 2025-2026 Advocacy Webinar Series, helping provide free educational programming for families, caregivers, educators, and professionals who support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The webinar series covers topics such as special education, service navigation, financial planning, advocacy, and early intervention resources.

The partnership reflects a shared belief that strong communities are built when all individuals have access to the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive. Through this collaboration, Quaint Oak Bank has helped expand access to education while supporting The Arc’s broader mission of promoting inclusion, opportunity, and advocacy across the Lehigh Valley.

Strengthening Libraries as Community Hubs

Libraries have always been more than places to borrow books. They serve as gathering spaces, educational centers, community meeting places, and gateways to lifelong learning.

That’s why one of the Bank’s most significant centennial initiatives focused on supporting public libraries across the region through customized partnerships tailored to each community’s needs.

Through these partnerships, Quaint Oak Bank provided support to:

Bethlehem Area Public Library

The Bethlehem Area Public Library received funding to support its seed library program, educational gardening resources, journals and creative supplies, and a community hike in partnership with the Black River Conservancy. These resources help connect community members with environmental education and outdoor learning opportunities.

Lititz Public Library

The Lititz Public Library received support for a seed library initiative designed to promote gardening education, sustainability, and community engagement. The program helps residents of all experience levels access hands-on learning opportunities while encouraging a culture of sharing and self-reliance.

Southampton Free Library

As the community where Quaint Oak Bank was founded a century ago, Southampton holds special significance in our history. Through our partnership with the Southampton Free Library, the Bank provided funding for new raised garden beds to expand educational programming and enhance the library’s existing community gardening initiatives.

Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, each partnership was developed by listening to library leaders and identifying projects that would have the greatest local impact. The result is a series of investments designed to strengthen literacy, learning, sustainability, and community connection.

Building a Legacy Beyond 100 Years

The centennial year has been filled with opportunities to celebrate our past, but our focus remains firmly on the future.

Whether through environmental stewardship initiatives, accessibility partnerships, library investments, or other community programs, each effort reflects the same values that have guided Quaint Oak Bank since 1926: service, integrity, stewardship, and a commitment to helping communities grow.

For 100 years, our customers have trusted us to be part of their financial journey. As we celebrate this milestone, we’re grateful for those relationships and excited to continue investing in the places we call home.

Because while anniversaries mark where we’ve been, community investment helps shape where we’re going.

And after 100 years, we’re just getting started. inclusion, accessibility, and education—helping build stronger communities for everyone.
